The feral cat caught my attention.
A few years ago, I was strolling through the dock area for fishing boats in San Francisco.
Resting on a large storage bin were about 20 cats, who rose in attack position as I came by. Needless to say, I moved on rapidly.

These cats not only control the rats and mice, but may also help keep out unwelcome tourists and pilferers.
