I am trying to determine if there is enough interest in Sunnycamp to put it on this year...Would have to be third weekend in October I think...which is 18-20..I don't like it that late due to weather changing but that is probably the only time. I have not solved the problem of woodland creatures getting into the main lodge (rarely it seems). Mold issues also keep people away. Maintenance is an ongoing issue and they seem to want to wait until they can do everything at once which I disagree with. It is more rustic than other camps..bare cabins, unheated etc. But it is in a beautiful setting on Willapa Bay about 3.5 hours from Seattle and 3 from Portland..and 20 from Astoria but no one crosses the river from that direction it seems. Cost is about $55 or so. Food is standard camp fare. Weather can be beautiful or very wet that time of year. We have had some just grand music...so let me know soon so I can make some decisions.
