There was a very poignant piece on 'DON'T LEAVE ME THIS WAY' on Radio 4 the other day.

Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes were the first to record it and in 1982, frontman Teddy Pendergrass was involved in a car accident that left him paralysed from the chest down. He went on to help thousands of other quadriplegic people and devoted his life to it.

I have never really listened to it before, its a beautifully written song.
