Dave Bulmer used to come to Scotland to play at festivals in the 1970s, and played at Aberdeen Folk club on several occasions with John Doonan. He was one of the few piano-accordion players I ever had any time for, and was a good fiddle player too. I played tunes with him in those days, and enjoyed both his musicianship and company.
