To paraphrase Les Barker, don't ask for everything unless you have a reeeally big cupboard.
Must have been thinking of Richard B and the guy on YouTube.

There are a couple of firms making turntables, including Optimus, and they usually nowadays come with pre-amp for direct connection to a computer. Still connect to a stereo too, though.
