Another Sidmouth one: Lulo Reinhardt walked into a session, sat down on the only free stool next to me, and asked to borrow my guitar. I knew who he was from the festival publicity, and suggested he borrow a better one than mine (battered old session type!), but no, mine would do. He got just an amazing sound out of it, and also made another sessioner's century as they jammed and jazzed along together.
