Backslid today at an estate sale up the street. The homeowner moved to assisted living and is enjoying that life, but is offloading a lot. She apparently did a lot of entertaining. This is the third sale day and the house is still stuffed full of partyware in glass, silver plate, and milk glass. I picked up a cake plate, a couple of boxes of blank note cards, a little George Foreman grill (I've been meaning to, next time I saw a small one like this. Got it for $2.50). And an old manual Smith Corona typewriter. I miss my old Olivetti that the kids destroyed playing with years ago.

Getting ready to steam juice frozen strawberries. The jelly request this year is for more strawberry than mustang grape. He's going to have to toss what he put in storage (but keep the jars!) The Tuscon locker where he stored it isn't air conditioned and he will have kept those jars on an unhealthy simmer all summer.
