Jeremiah has been struggling with allergies the last couple days. His nose is a never ending faucet..it just runs right on out. ICK. The first day of this, he didn't show any sign on runny nose, etc until after dinner. I went to town and picked up some allergy medication for children but was hesitant to just give it to him and put him to bed where I couldn't monitor if he had a reaction or not. As a result, he was up most of the night snuggling with Mama in the recliner or snuggling up next to Daddy who was sitting on the couch snoring. He was up until about 3am and then I was up until after 4 AM just watching him breathe. Pete let me sleep in the next day which means I slept until about noon. Medication was given and has made a tremendous difference for Jeremiah and thankfully he hasn't had any kind of reaction.

I had a tumor marker check up last week and am ecstatic to report that my numbers are the lowest they have been since surgery! YAHOO!!!

For whatever reason, it happens that over the weekend, we let the dishes pile up...most likely because we are too busy enjoying each other's company to give a hoot about the dishes. As a result, I have quite the pile of dishes on Monday morning. I'm happy to say that they all have either been hand washed or are running through the dishwasher as I type. Laundry has also been started and a few business calls made too.

Yesterday I spent several hours sewing. I picked up a GORGEOUS batik jelly roll over the weekend and was busy playing with that. The quilt top is about 3/4 of the way finished...all golds, browns and greens...very rich coloring. I still need to cut the borders and get those on as well. Hopefully I can get the strip part done while Jeremiah is napping later or maybe after dinner tonight.

And Maggie, a long arm is a long machine that is used in quilting quilt tops....you stretch your quilt top between two rollers on top of the batting and backing and then some machines you just set a pattern and the machine does all the work and other machines are hand driven. I had the chance to *drive* one on Saturday afternoon...Ooooh la la!!! FUN!

I hope everyone has a GREAT day!!!
