I tend to agree with most of the comments in Songwronger's link.

Tho' I think most of the folks here are basically socialist, they are afraid of the term and cleave to what they see as the lesser of two evils ....Mr Obama and the Democrats; this leads them up the blind alley of support for a govt who's foreign policy is the exact opposite of liberalism.
