Oh, now! What a lovely and gracious offer. Why, I would hazrd to say one could probable take one's shoes off when entering chez LH.
I was horrified when Gabe took of his sandals! I said, "Buddy! Leave yer shoes on in this house! Ya might catch suomethin!" I mean, he was BAREfeeties! Now, granted, I had just mopped all the floors but I only mopped them once so his chances of survival were still slim. He declined. Have you heard from Gabe lately, A? I am concerned, you know.
I am presently resisting great temptaion to aquire a new Hran. It would be foolish to buy one without the ability to play one for any length of time. Check out Lavengro's thread re Bodhran tutorials on YT. I am absolutely in love with the O'Kane Hran. Mine are shallow 18" Kearns' and the O'Kane, even with the "cheap" recording system, sounds like something I would love to beat up.
