There is already a small archive in The Salford Library; we would be more than happy to add ours - mostly digitised and indexed and I have little doubt that Peggy would give her blessing, which would probably give access to the Ruskin College material.
There is far more goodwill than is immediately obvious from some of the responses on forums such as these.
It would be great to find somebody who would help co-ordinate such a project
