It was fun to watch AK. His radio blues hour was a must - followed on when the Mike Raven show series stopped, as I recall. I used to see Alexis in the old BBC Club bar in the Langham now and then, waiting to go over to the studios to record his slot - also met him a few times at the Cousins all nighters. Always seemed like a good bloke to me, but I would say more of an influential musician than an exciting one...

Anyway, it was worth seeing his hair and sideburns again - so 70s! :-)
