I agree with you Will Alexis was more influential than exciting, a good presenter and also voice over for tv commercials. Far more exciting in my opinion was Cyril Davies particularly after his split from Alexis. I remember the jam packed Thursday nights at the Marquee with Cyril's band which then spawned a Tuesday session by a group of newcomers headed by Mick Jagger.
