Trunch is a real place (in Norfolk UK).

As a long-time devotee of the Kipper Family I would say I've never heard a tune of theirs that wasn't a variant. Indeed that's very much a part of their appeal as far as I'm concerned.

Henry Kipper (Dick Nudds) of course is no longer performing.
