Thread Name: Lyr Req: Blue Okanagan (Ivan Reynolds)
Subject: Lyr Add: BLUE OKANAGAN (Ivan Reynolds)
This is a good song; there is sheet music but I haven't located an online copy.
Guest's lyrics are correct, but I don't want this song to be hard to find on mudcat, so I will repost the lyrics here (wrong procedure?).

Ivan Reynolds

Between the mighty Monashee and the Coast Range of B. C.
Where the rivers flow like fountains, on their way out to the sea
And the apple blossoms splendor in no other land is found
For it's heaven, really heaven, when they're blooming all around.

Blue water, blue sky, blue mountains so high
Blue valleys and hills, blue rivers and rills
Blue dreams in my heart, oh why did I part
From the great Okanagan, so dear to my heart.

See the lonesome river, slowly winding its way
Just like the river, I'm leaving today
I'm headin' back now, gonna feather my nest
In the Okanagan Valley, pride of the West.

Great wine country!
