Well, I am waffling on the Christmas thing this year. Since we bought a new car, and are saving up for a trip next year, we set a budget, so that was a little of a drag. I did get Mister's gifts under the budget, though.

Some of you know my father died in August... I am really missing him a lot these days. A LOT.

Found out my Army friend will be going to another post, far far away (albeit still in the States). He's not going till July but it's got me in a pet nonetheless. Plus he was in an auto accident last week - not hurt, but car badly damaged.

I don't decorate my cube at work but I do have a Christmas sweater that I like to wear, and some Christmas jewelry that I made myself. I do have one of those jingle-bell necklaces, and a Santa hat... although the hat's been in the basement for a year and is a little musty.

I really do like Christmas but I just don't feel up to it this year, which makes me feel even worse, because people depend on me to be the One Who Goes to Eleven (you Spinal Tap fans know what that means). So when I'm only at about Four or Five I feel like I'm letting everyone down. :(

Have two performances this weekend; not looking forward to it but once I get going I will be okay. After all that's my gift to share with the world.

Saturday night I'm putting on my fuzzy slippers and watching It's A Wonderful Life...
