And I agree, language evolves, and it's hardly surprising, in view of the huge volume of US TV programmes on UK TV, that we've picked up many of your words and sayings. Hell, I even heard a kid in the street the other day declare that, "so-and-so sucks", which is an expression Brits of my generation would never use. :-)
