I packed a box to ship today, then remembered that the post office is closed. I'll hand it to my mail carrier tomorrow.

This afternoon I drove over to the glass store to order the piece to put on top of my buffet. What an amazing place! They have lots of glass furnishings (including bent glass), mirrors, blown glass, plus the usual window glass. And they have lots of fixtures - hinges, knobs, drawer pulls, etc. I have a place in Dallas I was planning to drive to, but I may not need to make that trip. I'm not ready to buy the hardware, that will have to wait a little. This afternoon I'm going to dust each of the drawers and cut liner paper for them. I have lots of table cloths and linen napkins to take out of a trunk. I'll wash, iron, fold, and put them in the drawers. I can still open them without knobs, but the investment to buy the hardware is going to set me back enough that I have to pace myself.

The dining table is about to have the first project laid out on it. Luxury! A large flat workspace that isn't on the floor!
