Hey! And thanks to all those I talked or sang to or with. Forget the Christmas muzak. If this isn't the most wonderful time of the year, it's probably in the top two or three on the Hit Parade of most attendees. And I HAVE had some rotten Christmases, but I've yet to have a rotten Getaway.

I have lovingly watched pairs of cardinals for years, and that song nailed the experience.

Gary's singing of the rescue song was the best I've ever heard him sing ANYTHING on top of it being a gripping song and a much needed history lesson.


Ahhhh, there was prescious little I heard that I didn't enjoy and highlights too many to give them all their due.
