You're right, Morty, they get a short shrift. My stepson is just as earnest and good-hearted a person as you could wish to meet, but his quirks make him the butt of his classmates' cruelty and his teachers' misunderstanding. It breaks your heart. My wife and I try to do all we can to help him understand what's going on, and how he can deal with it, but it's very, very hard for him.
