Autism and A.S are my particular fields of 'expertise'.I think it's because I haven't met one person with AS who wasn't trying as hard as they can to 'fit in'......without the faintest idea how to achieve or what 'it' is.I'm still coming across people in their 30', 40's and older who have never been diagnosed and have always wandered what was 'wrong' with them.It can be a sad and lonely condition and yet as Temple Grandin points out, we should savour and value the difference.
