I am dumbfounded. Another death at work - this time the husband of a woman who retired earlier this year. More photos to dig out.

This evening I used wood putty and filled in the holes from the former drawer pulls on that buffet I'm working on. I was going to simply drill new holes using a template, but I need to do two things - make the template more robust (cardboard isn't enough, it has to be a piece of wood) and then fill those existing holes since the new holes are very close to the old ones. I'll need to stagger them a little higher to avoid the new holes merging with the old ones. I think filling the old ones first will make the new holes easier to put in. The drill bit less likely to drift.

The kitchen is looking pretty good, it took only a few minutes to clear off the peninsula counter. Hand washables out of the way, the rest of the laundry gets washed tomorrow. I finally sold one of the eBay items that has been relisted many times. It's a bulky box, so shipping this on Monday will clear part of the bench the boxes were stacked on. Tomorrow I have to spend some time doing serious dusting. It is piling up again.
