Nothing beats good congress, I concur. Charley did all the scheduling, actually--I just facilitated. We laid on some good snacks and sat around swapping salty numbers.

The call of far-off places subsides, but is never silenced. I am thinking a motor-van would be a nice idea, putting my way across the West, back to the East. For now, the call is muted by the clatter of normal days and tasks, things that call for endurance and regular times.

But when I dream, it is of far away places, where the hills are green, the trees are deciduous, where the Gulf Stream lurks just over the horizon, and all the small rivers of the land strive to answer her silent call.

Just now, though, I must go to CostCo and fill the car, and take the dog for a romp.
