I finished most of that new buffet I'm working on, converted from a nicely made but dated dresser that had distressed veneer. Now it has black high gloss enamel (I later saw something about "ebonizing" furniture - that would be interesting) and a glass top. I've been putting on the drawer and cupboard pulls, and found that one of the seven pulls was from the wrong bin at the glass shop with all of the great cabinet hardware. I'll swap it out tomorrow.

There is a grocery bag packed with several pounds of old VCR tapes. I took a bag of them to work this morning and I'll take more tomorrow. This will clear out several cubic feet of space in the bookcases.

I signed a title transfer form at work today for all of the publications and photos I turned over to the university archivist. I have an estimated 11.25 linear feet of shelf space now of my work in Special Collections. That doesn't count all of the gigabytes of stuff I turned over as well. This is prints and publications from the first 7 or 8 years of work.
