I'm bringing this back because I'm still interested in folk music around Portland; I tracked down one club that has apparently closed (Rexall Rose on NE Alberta), but the Laurelthirst sounds promising (on NE Glisan). Was the Vancouver note about Vancouver, WA or Vancouver, Canada? Hard to tell sometimes where people are at. There are also past threads which ask about Portland info--I haven't read all of them yet.
