I did not ask for her ashes since that is not my belief but on the last bright day of autumn I went to the place where we scattered Dauvit's ashes.

The sunset glowed of the boathouse as it gave us one last glance from across the water before it slid to sleep behind the hills of Hoy.

There I spoke the words of farewell and freedom.


Go my friend, go in peace, dance on the winds that ancient breath that flows around the world.
Go my friend, go in love, glitter among the stars and ride the tail of comets, in the rustle of the wind in the trees I will hear your laughter.
