Dear Secret Santa,

I am an adult female human being. Sea and plant colors delight - periwinkle blue, turquoise, amber, moss agate, flaming poppies,leaf green, seal grey, evening and morning sky....I like things from your part of the world- a shell, a carving, a water-smoothed stone, a bit of music. Special tiles and colorful/colourful bits of pottery will become a mosaic in our new home.

For hobbies, we enjoy music, artwork, weaving, basketry, woodcraft, knitting, lacemaking, quilting, leatherwork, gardening, woodcarving, pottery, writing about our lives here, beadwork, and spinning (always looking for new fibers to spin.) Our bantam chickens are dear to our hearts and our apple, peach, plum, and pear orchards are young but daily growing. Our house is under construction. We are wild bird rehabilitation volunteers. Our land is a wildlife sanctuary.

I make songs and poetry, and sing solo and in a folk chorus here in Maine, and am always looking for interesting music to try. Scots Gaelic, Passamaquoddy, Shoshone, and Italian languages are of great interest, as are farming books and field guides. We like dark chocolate, shortbread, good tea leaves, laughter, small hand tools, interesting things someone made. A realeo, truleo letter is a wondrous thing. Please send only as much as pleases you.
