Having got Bonfire Night out of the way, it's now the first day of the extended Christmas season, at least according to my childhood calendar.

Now that you can't do "penny for the guy" it's time to make a little money by singing Christmas Carols (though it might take a week or two before you've got the words good enough and also before it's acceptable to grown ups).
