Years ago when I had a hysterectomy, a young woman who I believe had Down Syndrome was in the next room. She too had had a hysterectomy and had idea what was going on. Her screams were pitiful.
They moved her to another floor.
Yes her night time antics were distressing but I can't imagine how frightened she must have been.
This poor woman's life seems to be totally out of her control.
Hopefully her caretakers can find a way to soothe her and also get you a decent night's sleep.
