It rolls through the quiet streets touching the neat stuccoed houses and the laid out lawns with a hint of gloom, of some infinite moist potential for endless change, chaotic re-invention, and instant disguise. The normally bright and snug homes take on sinister, fog-dripping, wispy looks, as if the Masters of Reality were thinking of pulling the Big Switch on the world.

Tomorrow, as the little blue planet makes her way around to point us toward Sol once more, the light will start bending early down into our piece of sky, warming the chill and dissipating the tendrils of fog that remain; the bright blue cheer of the Southern California sky will reassert itself as the temperature heads toward the high sixties (F) and another beautiful weekend in Paradise will commence.
