The song reminds me of sitting in the Lorelei (beatnik-favoured coffeebar in Brighton) one time in the early 60s when one of the Blue Meanies came in and everyone started humming the tune. Then when he went to leave (this was shortly after a major police bribery case in town), someone said, "Yeah, no doubt about it, Brighton's got the best police force money can buy."
