Subject: RE: Jane's Rainbow: for all needing support & comfort
Ok all, it is 11.30pm on Thursday. Mum is tucked up in bed with a lovely young lady carer holding her hand while she sleeps. Billy and I are cosy in bed with glass of wine and watching TV.

What a week, as BB said to me just now. we sat up all night again on Tuesday, but last night our daughter sat with mum and I must admit I don't remember anything after my head hit the pillow.

I have arranged pretty much 24 hour care, found a physiotherapist who came today and got mum standing and is phoning the Community Matron to arrange Occupational Therapy to come and assess mum and arrange any equipment we may need.

This afternoon my cousin Michael and his wife who live in Salisbury arrived out of the blue to see mum, they sat and chatted and she loved to see them. Then BB and I had supper with them and laughed and reminisced , it was really lovely.

Mum is very poorly, bad chest infection and very sleepy but safe and contented. She enjoyed Michael reading the memory book to her ( she was there when he was born in 1943 and he has always been like a big brother to me)We are blessed with a wonderful close family.

Thank you for your lovely words , this crew is a wonderful family too!

much love
Wendy
