Btw, I got a note that it might be one Pat O' Loughlin who played in the Milford House Ceili Band in 1937-

it seems reasonable since Breathnach was born in the 1910s, and if he didn't record him he may have written down the lyrics.

I haven't heard of any other song version existing for Kid on the Mountain, but I am really 'green' in this area, no pun intended...
