Subject: Lyr Req: CAITLIN AT THE WINDOW (Joe Crookston)
I heard this on Spotify and transcribed it; however, I am not satisfied with line 2, which doesn't make sense to me.

CAITLIN AT THE WINDOW
As recorded by Joe Crookston on "Darkling & the BlueBird Jubilee" (2011)

I sailed you home across the sea,
Out the hall(?) and poetry,
We buried you down in the autumn chill,
Killin' time here at home while my love sleeps in the churchyard on the hill,
Killin' time here at home while my love sleeps in the churchyard on the hill.

I loved you hard; you drew me in.
You drove me mad with all your demons within.
Now I rest my elbows on the windowsill,
Killin' time here at home while my love sleeps in the churchyard on the hill,
Killin' time here at home while my love sleeps in the churchyard on the hill.

Sometimes I curse you beneath that cross.
It wasn't just mine but the whole world's loss.
Someday I'll lie beside you, but for now I'm still
Killin' time here at home while my love sleeps in the churchyard on the hill,
Killin' time here at home while my love sleeps in the churchyard on the hill.
