I find Photobucket more awkward than it used to be, but I still use it for images that require direct links, such as the avatars on a message board that I facilitate.

Flickr underwent a big change a few months ago which drove many users to Ipernity which seems more like the old Flickr.

It's my understanding that there will be no new pro accounts on Flickr. They want to display ads to everyone. My pro account is grandparented and I gladly pay the $25/ year to archive and share my 17,000+ ad-free images there.
