Mrs Flannery's was the name of a folk club in Tullamore. Tom McHale, who played there regularly, started his own club in Athlone (in the Jolly Mariner) a few years before his untimely death. Tony Holleran, a fine singer, took over the running of the club subsequently. There is still an Athlone Folk Club, to the best of my knowledge, which is the direct descendant.
