We have approximately 330 million people in the US. The 30 million left after the "action" - presumably a good many of them politicians, advisers and administrative personnel - will probably not be in too good a shape; there tend to be fewer deaths in any 'action' than injuries, so there is a small problem there.

ALL of the 'survivors' will have families, extended families, friends, neighbors and co-workers who did not survive. That's all right, though; I imagine they all agreed that the end result would be worth it.
