My wife Emma was in Manhattan last week for a friend's party. She was staying in a hotel just over the river in Weehauken NJ. Returning at 0130 in the morning thru the Lincoln Tunnel, she & a friend overshot their bus stop, and found themselves about 5 miles into Jersey City in the rain in the small hours; no buses, no taxis. "We'd better ask someone the way," Emma said, and asked one of the few passers-by for help. "Where are you staying?" the lady asked. "The Sheraton Lincoln Harbor," Emma replied. "Why," said the helpful lady, "I work there. Come up to my apartment and I'll call a taxi for you."

Now, what were the chances of finding an employee of the very hotel they were staying at 0130 5 miles away in he middle of Jersey City! Emma sez she must have a Guardian Angel.
