There are a few more milds available in London than there used to be, mostly dark though. Not easy to find - you'll have to go to a more selective pub. The Redemption Brewery are doing something called Trinity at 3%ABV but I'm not sure if its a mild or a weak bitter. It tastes a lot stronger than it is.
