re:bookmarks...actually, you can 'usually' import bookmarks between programs...if the bookmark file is available at all, there are ways to get make it usable again...(I have bookmarks dating to early 1996 that have gone thru 3 crashes, 2 computers and 3 browsers...) most important is to have a *BACKUP** system and routine and DO IT...if not daily, then weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your use....just backing up vital stuff, like bookmarks, personal files etc, will do, programs can always be re-installed. Zip drives are good, CD-RW is better, but even little floppies will do for some emergency copies of things...
