I had a little fire going for Xmas Day breakfast, and we had the choreographer and the high-tech entrepreneur and his wife and the rising young geek executive over for a big spread. It was kind of loverly, in fact, and we got one of them new high-tech Chromecast plugins for our TV. Most amusing. Mimosas, cronuts, bacon and scrambled eggs, strawberries and chocolate pearls for dessert, more mimosas and canned Christmas Music. Purely grand times, hashed out all the major issues of the world and everyone went home happy.

It got so warm that I had to take my jacket off, then my sweater. By the time brunch was done and I went outside to repair Tucker's rear bumper, I was working in my teeshirt in the balmy sunlight, which weas so thick I had to shovel it off the walk just to get to the car.
