I know you all won't be impressed, but this December was the 12th coldest on record for North Texas, since they started keeping records about 125 years ago. As a consequence, the dogs spent a lot of nights in the house and most of those nights one dog slept on my bed. I've always wondered if my tolerance for having someone else in the bed might be reduced after many years on my own, but that particular dog snores fairly regularly and I sleep through it. This is what this year's cold weather has taught me.
