I will be driving in my 1987 Toyota Celica, which still gets 32 miles/gal on the highway, from scenic Portland, Oregon to the even more scenic (and aptly named)Curtain, Oregon, just north of Drain, Oregon. I will be spending Christmas Eve in the Stardust Motel in Curtain with my 8 year old grandson, Austin, who thinks this is about the coolest thing possible, and I sincerely hope to be floating in Belknap hot springs up past McKenzie Bridge on Christmas Day.
