Bad Thread Drift Alert:- They can be arrogant can't they? I had terrible wrist pain, drove me mad. Waited six months for a referral (three cancellations of their clinics, then long wait for a scan) So-called 'specialist' said it would need an operation to free the tendon. He was the most pompous arrogant pig I've ever met. Got fed up waiting and a friend recommended Ibuprofen gel. In two days was cured. Since then, no probs at all. Wrote to explain why I no longer wanted his op. He didn't even reply. If only they'd admit they don't know everything and showed a bit of humility, we could accept that. My sis is a hospital doctor, and she's an arrogant little fart too!
Back to the original thread. My husband is going out to Ivory Coast in August to see his mum and dad. I'll be packing a plastic container for him, with as many medications I can get together for re-hydration, disinfection, diarhhoea tablets, anti-malarial pills etc etc. Perhaps I should also get him some incontinence pads??
