Wow, maeve, that's kind of a meteorological flipping the switch on and off again quickly - a freeze after all of that water? Ouch!

For North Texas we're threatened with rolling blackouts or brownouts today because of the high demand for electricity - it got to 13^o last night and is only going to come up to 32^o during the day, then way down again tonight. We're not accustomed to so much of this, and temps this low are quite rare.
