Hi everyone,

It's Trish here. I hope you're all doing OK and not too badly affected by the flooding. Unfortunately, following discussion with the Chairman of Arundel Football Club, we are going to have to cancel this week's Willows (Wednesday 8th January) as the football pitch and car park at the Football Club are flooded and it is impossible to get into the building.

At the moment the building isn't flooded and we are keeping our fingers crossed that it remains like this. We were at the Football Club last Saturday morning, taking down the Christmas decorations in the function room and the football pitch was like a lake then and the river that runs through the car park was virtually overflowing.

We are so sorry to have to cancel but there really is no other option. We will try and reschedule Taxi Home for later in the year if we can.

I do hope we will be able to see you all again soon. We will keep you posted regarding the following week's Come All Ye on Wednesday 15th January. We are intending to run, and the Football Club think this should be fine - but, if possible, please check out our website or Facebook page nearer the date for the latest information. We will also send an e-mail next week with an up to date note of the situation.

This is definitely not the start to the New Year that we all hoped for, but nevertheless we wish you all a very Happy and Peaceful New Year.
