I first heard the song on an Ian Campbell Five LP in the mid 60s & it made a great impression at the time- it's probably on CD by now.
I was also delighted to find a copy of Idris Davies' poetry in the shop of the Welsh Mining Museum at Blaenavon- that was years ago, but they might still have some copies. Essential reading for all folky lefties, like me
