I heard St. Pat was Welsh, which is not exactly English, but I have to agree, back in the 5th century it might not have been so offensive to be English. Maybe someday we can erase even more of that centuries old enmity. Even though those English people all talk funny. I guess we shouldn't hold that against them. So maybe the 16th or 17th of September would be a good day to celebrate. It might have kinder overtones than the 12th of July. And I have two unopened bottles of 12 year old Jameson's in my liquor cabinet. People keep giving them to me.
