There's a horse, a well known horse, you see him everywhere.
In the parks and carnivals and at the county fair.

He's never won a ribbon though....
He features every show.

The nights of old
So brave and bold
Would love this horse I know.

He doesn't eat oats, he doesn't eat hay, he travels a thousand miles a day.
The horse with the lavender eyes.

A silvery mane.
A saddle of gold.
A beautiful creature to behold.

You can fetch him water all day long...
But he'll never take a drink.

He ought to be crowned
