On the acoustics, Guild Phosphor Bronze, light or med light...but they aren't around too much any more...when the music store told me that, a couple of years ago, I bought several sets...still have some new sets.
Before that, D'Addario...but the Guilds, once I tried them out, blew D'Addarios away.
Back in 1978, I happened upon a box of 2500 plain wound ZB Strings of different gauges...008, .009. .010, .011, .013, .014, .015, .017. they are used mostly for pedal steel guitars....I still have some..they, also are great strings.
